SK semi-auto ammo

Anyone tried this in their bolt gun ? There aren't a lot of choices out there and I don't want to use up my cx.

Its fine. I think its just SK Standard with a little less quality control. Maybe run it for a couple of hours while setting up. I've shot it a whole lot and I usually sort it with a Neil Jones guage

It's quite a bit faster than SK standard,somewhere in the 1130's. I ordered some from good shooting early this morning when they showed 5 cases. Now it shows no SK at all. I would have liked to have some rifle match but all that was available was the semi-auto. Maybe it won't go super sonic out of one of my longer barrels. At least I can keep shooting.

I believe you're correct as to the higher velocity with Semi Auto - I've had a hard time finding std vel ammo that will reliably cycle in my CLE 22RF upper; even Polar Biathlon won't reliably cycle it. But after buying a few bricks of the SK Semi Auto, I believe I've found what I've been looking for - it's probably not as accurate as a really good lot of Std+, but it works, and the accuracy is good enough to suit my needs.

Flatlander I shoot SK standard and pistol match in my CLE 22 and they cycle fine. Also I put this plug in the buffer to cycle 22 RF. I will shoot you a PM when I figure out who made it. The plug may not be made any more. nilebartram

For people that shoot 22RF in their AR, the plug is made by Taccom, (still being made), called a pressure plug, $6.99. Easy and cheap fix to solve feeding and cycling problems. nilebartram
