Sizing before neck turning.

I have 175 cases that have been fired once. I am looking to turn the necks on them now for better concentricity and even seating pressure. I have a regular Lee full length die, Redding type S full length bushing die, and a regular Redding neck die with expander (no bushings). My question is which die should I run the brass through before running the brass up on the k&n expander mandrel. I was thinking I should use the regular Redding neck die before the expander so that after I turn the necks I can run them back through the type s die with the correct bushing and bump the shoulders then. Would this be the best way?

I like to FL size before turning, since you'll only be turning them once. I will sometimes run the cases through a Sinclair neck expander if the cases are too tight on the mandrel I'm using for turning.

I would recommend running your cases through the std FL die with expander removed, then expand with K & M Expandiron, then turn. After you turn them, you can run them through the bushing die as you see fit.

Use K&M to do the whole lot i.e. expand and turn. Really good gear. Don't forget your 18v Dewalt. They go hand in hand. We use Hornady lube for turning. ;)
