Sizing amount?

How much is too much when talking about sizing the body?

I was in contact with a Die manufacturer and according to them their off the shelf die would size the body of my brass about .002" according to my reamer print?

Is this too much? Or not enough.

This is a benchrest rifle.

Is this .002 the final brass sizing after spring back? If so that’s more than prefer. I want .001 between the sized brass body diameter and chamber.

I size to .001 to .002" shoulder bump but my rifles are precision varmint rifles, not for bench rest.

I check shoulder bump adequacy but removal the firing pin assembly from the bolt then chambering a size round to access the amount of resistance in closing the bolt. I like a slight resistance which assures me of good functionality and minimum sizing.
