Single shot sleds

Anyone know how well these sleds work? I'm thinking of getting a Bighorn Origin and using a single shot sled and saving some money instead of getting another Bighorn TL3 with the single shot option. Or would it be wiser just to get the TL3?
All my single shot actions are right bolt, left port which makes it easy to load since I can look right into the port. The Origin only has a right port if you get the right bolt so I'm thinking it might make it a bit more difficult? Thanks!

I have a Davidson loading ramp glued into my 700, works just like a SS action. My dad uses a single shot follower in his, does the same thing.

Thanks for the info. I guess it works fine. I just have to decide if having a left port is worth the extra money.

I make my own version of a Bobsled. The Oryx stock on a Ruger American Predator uses AICS style magazines and the Grendel round is short squatty and tapered and does not work well with current magazines. Lord knows I've tried.
