Single shot adapter for Savage 110 EP 6mm Creedmoor?

I purchased this rifle and it really doesn't fed well from the mag (MDT 10 rd. 308 metal). In fact, I have yet to get it to feed once without it jamming (40 rds) and having to double feed. So I would like to single feed using an one-shot adapter and forgo the mag altogether. Just looking for advice on the style that sits or clips onto the top of the mag or the type that replaces the mag altogether. The former runs about $11-15 and the latter in the $35 range.

In case you're wondering why the Savage at that kind of money, the Tikka Sporter (LH) I couldn't get at the time. The Ruger Precision couldn't be had in LH at that time, but the Savage was readily available in LH 6mm and 6.5. So I pulled the trigger. The Savage is very accurate, but just doesn't feed worth a damn using Hornady 108 ELD match. When I decide to quit reading and buy something it's all over but the whining. Enough with the disclaimer.

For those of you that have gone down the adapter path, your knowledge would be appreciated.

I read about the Score High. does this adapter just lay loose on top the magazine or does it clip securely to the mag?

Not sure if Bob’s Sled makes them for that model, they are worth looking at.

I like the poly sleds from Sharp Shooter Supply, they are slick, literally. Put one in a friends model 16 and he loves it, I liked it so much bought one for my 12FV. Fred has then for DBM and center feed internal mags.

However as you will discover in a search, time frame and contact were shaky at best.
I have their Dog tracker stock. Absolutely first class. 3 months was really 3 years.
