Sinclair micrometer top for LE Wilson seaters

liked my 223ai chamber seater so much I ordered one for my 6br and 2 Sinclair micrometer tops. When I got the tops yesterday, the 22 cal drift wouldn't thread into either top. I didn't have the same problem with the 6mm drift. I called Wilson and found out others were having the same problem with the Sinclair top (btw, sold as "Sinclair/Wilson Micrometer Seater Top) and 22 cal drifts. While I was on the phone with them they were testing that very same issue and they couldn't get any 22 cal drifts to thread into any of the tops they received.

I was assured the Wilson top wouldn't have this problem. Brownells issued me a return label and I ordered 2 Wilson tops from Midway.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. Was just about to order a few different stems for different shaped bullets and was going to order each one their own top since they are reasonably priced and I'm to lazy to switch out stems. I'll get the Wilson ones
