How consistent is Sinclair mandrel shank dimensions from mandrel to mandrel? I’m asking because I want to make my own body.

Hi, it will help I’m interested in the smaller type. and yes it’s the upper part diameter and if they are consistent in dimension between several mandrel.I assume you are talking about the top (larger) part? All of mine seem the same, except the 35 cal and larger ones have a much larger shank and use a different die body. Happy to take some measurements for you, if it will help.

Any chance of getting a picture of your set-up,and a bit more specs. TKSNeeding a mandrel die body in a hurry, I found a Lee FL die that contained it quite well. A machine screw though the plastic top holds it still Works so well that I haven't bothered to replace it yet!
All my mandrels are Sinclair compatible, except my 30 cal which is LE Wilson, which has a screw in fitting
