Sinclair Cleaning Cradle??

I acquired this at an estate sale with other stuff. I "think" it is a Sinclair cradle. My question is what is the bracket on the side for? Looks like it is a clamp for a rod of some sort. Is anyone familiar with this one.

It can become a collapsible rod cradle unit. You are missing the rod holder attachment.

Correction! -- It appears it may be an original Sinclar. It was just different than the one I have.

I don't think that's an original Sinclair, but the concept is the same. I have a Sinclair and it works very well.

After looking at this one, it may have a nice feature the Sinclair didn't. I'm guessing, but since it has one long rod holding the two ends together, it should have another rod for the other side, which I don't see. The side with the clamping joints would be an ideal place to have two stainless tubes that act as support rods and places to hold cleaning rods.

Is your cradle an actual Sinclair? It looks different than the one I have, but looks a lot like the one originally ask about.

Yes. I would guess it’s 25 years old.
