I am thinking of buying a Sinclair bipod and am wondering if the adjustable one is the way to go or the standard one that only adjusts with the legs. thanks
+1 not a fan of the adjustable mechanism:has play/wobble. Not a fan of the adjustable legs, they are a PITA to set up versus the wheel mechanism most of the other bipods use.Texas Solo said:I have the Sinclair with adjustable height feature. Nice unit, but it developed play in the height adjustment unit. The only way to make it solid was to lower it all the way and just use the legs. That's a PITA as I can't always get the rifle to settle back too exactly where it was.
I called Sinclair, who stood behind it 100%. I sent it back last week and just got an e-mail that it was repaired and shipped out to me today. Kudos to Sinclair for excellent C.S., but we'll see if the bipod fails again or not.
