Simple spring replacement NOT!!!!!!!

I want to put a new firing pin spring in my Kelbly F class Panda long action for the upcoming shooting season. I've replaced plenty of firing pin springs on many different actions without problems. Should be a simple job right - Wrong. I have all the correct Kleinendorst tools so it should be a piece of cake. Disassembled the bolt, compressed the spring, knocked out the pin holding the cocking piece to the firing pin - no problem.
Now I cant get the cocking piece off the pin. Tried tapping the cocking piece with a small hammer and piece of aluminum stock but no go. Soaked it with Kroil didn't help. Applied some heat with a heat gun and then tried tapping on it again but still no go. This damn thing is really stuck on there. I'm tempted to get it hotter with a small torch but I don't want to have any adverse effect on the metal. I don't want to really bang it too hard for fear of bending or damaging it. Has anyone run into this problem before I need some help.

Looks a little cocked on there..might just be the angle. Have you tried backing up the spring compressor tool and letting the spring push against it? -Al

Yes, I did let the spring push on it with no luck. It doesn't seem to be cocked, when I tried tapping it off I tapped from several different angles but it appears to be really tight on the firing pin.

Along with what Dusty said, I have also found the drilled hole wasn't exactly centered. The pin will only go back in unless in the original position. Just mark if before you pull it apart.

Thanks!
Perseverance prevailed!!!! Kroil, light heat and heavier tapping all around the circumference of the cocking piece finally got it off. There was some slight burring on the firing pin shaft so I cleaned it off and polished it up. The cocking piece still fits nice and tight over the shaft but should come off easier next time. I watched the Kelbly firing pin maintenance video on YouTube and they put a flat (file mark) on the firing pin shaft which needs to go under the cocking piece tail so that the holes line up and the pin goes back in. I just didn't expect it to be that tight and hard to get off.
