Silencerco-Radius Rangefinders

if you're bored and want to see pics and video and read a meandering thread www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=801604
if you just want the short answer, it works great. accuracy is pretty much to the yard compared to my PLRF10c. It's much faster. holds zero good enough but not like to the 1/4 MOA or something. the on/off button is annoying. the font on the display is a bit small for my eyes.

Taliv, Is that a left hand Surgeon action? How do you like the Terry Cross stock? What mount are you using and is it solid enough to hold the Radius? Thanks Gottschall

it is a left handed surgeon. wade stuteville built it for me. OTMtactical may still have an action in stock.

the sentinel is awesome. I have had 5 of them, but down to two at the moment. it's my favorite stock.

mount is spuhr 4002 with the raptar mount on top. it is extremely solid. i took it off the prize table at the AI PRS match at CORE (thanks Mile high!)

I borrowed one for a weekend of daytime coyote hunting. After that I have to have one. Just waiting for taxes to come back.

Missed, Do you know where the Radius is made? USA? China ? Gottschall

I am not sure on the country of manufacturing, but like many things I doubt that it is a fully domestic product for that price. I bet the electronics and glass are manufactured overseas and assembled here. But I have no docs to prove that.

Missed, Thanks for the reply. Anyone else have anything to add. Lets here it. If you dont want to post it here PM me. Thanks Gottschall

OK, got the Radius shook out!
Its mounted on my 34mm Spuhr mount via an optional Raptar rail mount.
Rifle is my .30-338Norma Improved:

Measured height between center of laser & center of scope is 3.0", so I used the enclosed target and reflective strips to get them centered up.
Thru the scope pic @ ~50yds, note the Gen2XR reticle centered on target, and visible laser is reflecting back exactly 3" above x-hairs:

With the laser collimated to the x-hairs, I was easily able to put the Radius in 'scan' mode. Soon as the x-hairs settled on my various steel plates, got an instant & accurate return on the Radius. I had my 1600-b along and confirmed distance to the exact yardage...

The weather turned real crappy, so wasn't able to really shake it out past 1,000yds, but initial impression is that this piece of kit is cool as heck! Works as advertised!

Good luck!
