Sightron

They are both good and only your eye's can decide what they like better.
You will have to try them out to know.
I have both and I like them both, but my eyes like the eye box better on the Sightron.
YMMV...my 2c

Yup..got the March X 10-60 myself...but haven't gotten rid of any of the others yet.
They all do have a place and application at least for me.

As mentioned above, everyone will see differently in rifle scopes. My eyes prefer my two Sightrons and a fixed power March scope thats on my 6PPC. Seems the views are brighter in those scopes compared to NF I have had the opportunity to look thru. I would take the chance to look thru as many different scopes and see what your eyes prefer. Plus also consider what eye relief works best for you. A scope you cant get a decent eye relief from is not gonna help either.

I bought a Sighton SVSSED about a year ago, and have been very impressed with it overall. Have thought about replacing a Sighton SIII ED 45x45 on one of my V22S 22RF BR rifles with one of the older 30mm 10-50x60 scopes to get a slightly brighter scope, but haven't done so yet. The 45x45 is a good scope; it's not that I'm not satisfied with it, just would like to compare it with a SIII 10-50x60 purely on the brightness side of the ledger.

I’ve owned the 10-50x60 S111, i wasn't aware of any HD glass nevertheless the Image Quality is good but nowhere near the NF competition.
The S3 (great scope, have 3) isn’t the SVSS-ED. Different scope altogether. My two NF Comps are sitting on a shelf after getting two SVSS-ED’s. Tracking is spot on and the eye box is a lot less fussy for me. Fine adjustment on the parallax is a nice feature too.

Both of my F class rifles have Sightron 10-50x60 SVSSED scopes on them.
I also have a Nightforce Competition, a Kahles 10-50x56 MOAK, and a Vortex Golden Eagle.
Personally I rate the Sightron, Nightforce and Kahles as excellent and the Vortex as good. To me the Vortex glass just isn't as good as the others especially as you turn the power up.
I am getting on in years and my eyesight definitely leaves something to be desired. When shooting F class I prefer a reticle with a center dot and cross hatching. The reason is in good light conditions I can use the center dot effectively and when conditions get really bad I can bracket the big black target center with the cross hatches.
The problem I have with the Nightforce and Golden Eagle are the reticles are just too fine for my old eyes.
For my old eyes and my style of shooting the Sightron reticles (MOA-1 and/or MOA-2) are the easiest to see and use.
All of these scopes track well.
The Nightforce is an excellent scope with the only drawback for me being the FCR-1 reticle is too fine and can give me trouble if lighting conditions aren't perfect.
The Kahles is also excellent and has by far the best turrets especially the elevation.
The Vortex is OK but to my eyes the glass is a step down and it also has a very fine reticle. It also does not have a zero stop.
The Sightron has excellent glass and I have found the reticles to work the best for me. The eyebox is also very accomodating. The downside to the Sightron is the weight and at times the locking turrets can drive me nuts. The other thing good about Sightron is their service is excellent. I have had Sightron change reticles and click values on some of my SIII scopes and they did an excellent job quickly and at a very reasonable price. Changing a reticle on a Nightforce is an expensive proposition.

Just my two cents!!!!!

Apparently, from what I can find out, the Sightron weighs 41.8 oz. This would put it over my weight limit for any of my LG LRBR rifles.

The 2 best scopes for my eyes and low light, have been the Trijicon 5x50 tenmile and the Kahles 10x50 both great in low light the Trijicon the best of the 2, haven't looked through any of the S&B or other highend scopes, I have a highmaster and it's not even close to the trijicon or Kahles imho but our eyes differ
