I am not very experienced with these scopes as I am selling it for a widow and helping her out her husband passed away

Yes there is a substantial difference. Between the glass and the dual parallel knobs which allow to adjust 4x closer to optimal it is excellent. If your use to more power and your spotting say 6mm holes at 500 yes there is a difference. But in certain conditions you will see holes when many won't. I have had 2 for several years, I like them. Also, they are very bright plus have a generous eyebox.
