These pictures show ring or rub marks. They are not bad and there is no texture to the touch, but I wanted to show them if that matters to you.

I'm brand new to the site and also, while I've been shooting for years, new to precision shooting. Can you tell me how a MRAD scope is incremented at .125 moa?

Each click of the turrets move the point of impact either up or down or right or left exactly 1/8 (0.125) MOA. The Mil-Dot on this scope refers to the reticle, which is set up in the Mil-Dot configuration used on some of the military scopes. I never used that Mil-Dot system with the reticle for ranging or hold over (so it is busier than I needed it to be); I just used the turrets to put the center of the crosshairs exactly on the target, which was usually a 600 yard F-Class Target.

Thanks for the explanation. All the mil-dots I've had were graduated in miliradians.
At any rate, I'm going to hold out for a true target reticle.
Good luck with the sale...

Yep, it's a bit of a Frankenstein from the factory. Most precision guys want that fine 1/8 MOA adjustment, so that is a great feature on the scope, but I think they must of put the Mil-Dot reticle on there because that was the hot new reticle for a few years.

I’ve got one exactly like that. Bought it so I’d finally have at least one scope with a reticle thick enough to see in any condition. I really like it. Shot a lot of 600 yard cleans with it

Weekend bump with price reduction to $695 shipped (but that is firm, I will just hold it for the future if nobody wants it for the $695 shipped).

I am going camping out of cell range this weekend, so don't get anxious if I don't reply right away. I may not be able to reply until Sunday night. I will go by first unambiguous "I will take it" in this thread if more than one person wants it at $695.

If you think this scope would be suitable for ARA benchrest, I'll take it. I'm at work now but will get back to you after 4 cst today.
