SIGHTRON Scopes 10x50x60LRIRMOA

I own one, it is barely used, and babied. It quit on me at the range on Friday. It will only have vision , when the side adjust is on 8 and the power is somewhere around 12. Anything Else is just a case of the complete "Blurs"..you cannot see anything...It is SIGHTRONs high dollar scope. I was shocked, since it was only 12-14 moths old and only mounted on a 11LB rifle .308...So no high recoil etc. Is SIGHTRON known for service? On their paper work they are "lifetime warranteed" reading THEIR fine print you find they are the arbitors of what they will or won't fix and they want money up front to "Look" at their scope...Is this what the other scope makers require or do they stand by their products? I am deeply disappointed with this scope at this point. Any ideas ass to what went wrong on this scope?? Thanks/Pete

Sightron is a quality company... ANY mechanical think can break at any time... They will fix your scope quickly and have it back to you in a very reasonable time frame... I never had one break. However, one of my 8-32's had some lash in it and I sent it back>>>in less than 1 month from the day I sent it out the door, I had it back and the lash was gone..

Call Sightron to see if you need an RMA (return authorization number), then send it in with a very precise, thorough description of the problem. I would also write a note describing the issue on a piece of paper and rubber band that around the scope itself. Be sure to insure your scope when you send it in.

You won't have any problems with Sightrons. I wouldn't be overly concerned. All brands can have issues. Sightron will make things right.

i just got back the same scope yesturday no problems i just wanted the turrets swapped out to 1/8 click had it on a 308 for 4 years and has never given me a problem i had it back in 3 weeks. i also asked for an extra elev.turret and they threw it in no charge .
