I just put a Sightron 3x9 Rimfire scope on my Ruger 10/22 and switched to some SK ammo. The scope is excellent, it has the fine crosshair for really fine work and the glass is outstanding for a 120.00 scope.
I ordered some SK Jagd ammunition at the same time I ordered the scope and I am impressed with it. It seems very well made and very consistent. This rifle has a Butler Creek carbon fiber wrapped barrel, and is more of a plinker. It was printing nice round groups at 40yds that a dime could cover. This is not as good as the rifle will shoot, I was hauling hay before I shot and the muscles were a little tired for fine motor skills.
The ammunition does have an oily coating that takes some getting used too and the powder has an unusual smell when fired.
I normally use Wolf Match but it is getting hard to find in my area and is very expensive when I can find it.
All in all a very nice bench session.
