What is the opinions on this Optic? I have NF Comps, Vortex Golden Eagles, Athlon Ares. Comparisons to these? Thanks all, Brian.

I have the MH MOA reticle version I don't have any NF to compare against but do have a 10-50SVED and it replaced the SVED on a rifle it was on. has been working great for me I only shoot ARA BR
FYI, Sightron is supposed to release a RFBR reticle version with a partial crosshair/ floating dot I am waiting on that scope for another rifle.

I have a pair of SVED and love them. The dual parallel control puts them above anything else out there as long as 50x is enough and for .22 rim fire it should be. I also have the NF Comp. At 500 yrs that extra 5x helps seeing holes but not as bright and fussed to get parables correct. Both good scopes.

It’s great clear glass. It focuses and ranges well but because the parallax has a wide sweep it doesn’t feel “snappy” when it comes into focus.
It’s a chonk though so I’d only use it on a competition rifle.
If it were FFP I’d own one or two because I’m still shooting using reticle holdovers.

Its a great scope. I really like mine. Big drawback is weight. If you have to meet a certain weight class, that may be an issue. I shoot UBR benchrest and I have to stay at 13.5 lbs. That Sightron is rather heavy. Its overkill for my competition rifles since 100 to 200 is my target distance. I popped it on my 6BR for longer distances. Its a keeper in my book for long range. I stick with fixed focus scopes on the bench rest guns.
