Sightron LRMOA-H 8-32 or 10-50?

I have both and believe you would be happy with either. Just remember you can always turn it down but you can't turn it up if you don't have it!

10-50 has only 50 MOA. One advantage of the 10-50 is that it is scaled at 24x so at 48X the scale is just half. So the MOA reticle becomes 1 moa/mark vs 2. the 8-32 is also scaled at 24x so if you turn it up to max the 2moa becomes 1.5moa (if I did the math right).

Another great scope that I just picked one up for long range is the Burris 8-40 with F class reticle that has 70 moa and a very cool reticle that is FFP so it is always moa (and actually half MOA). It also has a zero stop and IR. --Jerry

I have both of those scopes and both are superb. I find the 10-50x60 a very good scope for F class.

If you don't need or want the extra magnification then the 8-32x56 is an exceptional scope for the money.

The LRMOA reticle is great for bracketing in heavy mirage.

You will be happy with either.

I solved the problem. I bought one of each....8-32 on the 223 and 10-50 on the 6mmBR. Both with the LRMOA-H reticle. Need more time behind them but pleased with the purchase so far. I have several Big Sky's and everything I have read about the S-III's was positive. Thanks for the information fella's!
