Sightron Help

Hi all, I bought a used Sightron 36X with the nylon screw modification on both elevation and windage turrets. When I finally was able to use it I found that the elevation would only go down at a certain point then stop no matter how many times I kept turning the turret. It would never bring it down to where it needed to be on target.

Would somebody help me in directing me to somebody who repairs Sightron scopes. I had talked to Bill Ackerman and Cecil Tucker about this and neither one works on them. Thanks for any help that can be given.

Bill Ackerman modifies the SIII reticle, but I didnt know that was his limit on Sightron models. First I would ck w/the previous owner for the person who made the modification. This may be causing your problem, or by chance do you have an elevated rear base that wont let the scope come down to zero?? If all else fails call Sightron @1800-867-7512 for a scope smith recommendation. I dont know if they will work on an altered scope. Larry in western Ky.
