Sightron 8-32x56 1/4 MOA vs 1/8 MOA

I've decided on the Sightron 8-32x56 with the dot reticle. I would like to hear opinions pro and con on the 1/4 MOA click vs the 1/8 MOA click.

Go for the 1/8 MOA, which I have.
I also have a couple of Nightforce scopes, which are 1/4 MOA and although I love the Nightforce I wish they had 1/8 MOA adjustments. With 1/8 you can dial in more clicks, with 1/4 MOA you can't dial in a half click - so really a no brainer.

Depends on what you are shooting. I prefer 1/4 MOA because of what my purpose is. I shoot steel at or a little beyond 1000 yards, I don't shoot f class. For a 12" steel plate at 1000 yards, 1/4 MOA is good enough. But to be centered on the target for 1000 yard f class, 1/8 MOA is better.
I also shoot groundhogs and I might shoot one at 100 yards followed by the next one at 1000 yards. For the 1/4 MOA, that means 1.5 turns instead of 3 turns of the elevation turret (on my Sightron 8-32).

I have both but prefer the smaller .125 dot and 1/8 moa click for both target and p-dog shooting. The .250 dot is simply to large for shooting 200yd VFS and will completely blot out a p-dog at 600yds. The larger dot works better when hunting larger targets of opportunity such as deer and yotes. The smaller.125 dot get very hard to see in low light especially with a dark green folage background such as cedar trees, they're everywhere here in Texas. The 1/8 clicks always seem to work better for me for any type of target shooting. I'm glad I have both.
