Sightron 10-50x60 pricing

Not sure if this post will be of any use. More of an FYI type of thing...

Was looking around the Internet at scopes this morning, and was surprised to see that SWFA has the new scope listed with a price...

$994 + shipping
(they do NOT have any in stock)
http://swfa.com/Sightron-10-50x60-SIII-30mm-Riflescope-P45300.aspx

Larry Scott will likely beat that price... wait and see!

Walt

yes I will beat that price, but I'm not going to jump the gun and post a delivered price, not knowing what my cost is going to be. I've seen to many times the price is low when there is no merchandise, then when its available the price is higher. Hopefully I will know something very soon. Larry in western Ky.

I called Sightron this morning and they once again said they are "expecting them in any day".

I know we have heard this before, but I just wanted to pass this along so poor Larry wouldn't get bombarded with questions. I also asked about their turn around on them once they had them in their door. I was told 2-3 days all the new models would ship out to the dealers.

I know I can not wait to get mine.

By the sounds of the video on the Daily bulletin that supply and demand are going to be a bit lopsided. I am very interested in one of these scopes but i doubt i will be able to get one in the first shipment. I am going to try however. Sounds like a great scope for us average folks!!! Cant wait!! Lee

Wes thanks for the help. This whole Sightron deal has been poorly handled by the factory. If the company wasnt going to have product out according to their time table, why say anything at all. All I have done since this product idea availed itself to the public is create posts to try to avoid questions that I dont have the answer to. I dont know what part of "I dont have any new information" that folks don't understand. I'm in the selling business. If I had any worthy information it would sure be out here for the consumer to see. If I make 50cents an hour for what i've gone through on this ordeal, I'll be surprised. Larry in western ky.

Larry, I also saw on their websight a new 4-16x42 with Hunter Holdover reticle.

I have a 4-16x42 on a hunting rifle and need another for my son. Be glad to order one from you if they are available yet. If you get teh chance to check let me know.

Ken, I dont have anymore info on this or any of the other new models than I do the 10-50 and thats none. The company doesnt know when they are going to get the scopes, thats very apparent by the many changes of delivery dates. I dont know why they just dont admit it. Larry

sorry Larry! Didn't mean to bring you into it like that :(

It's a much anticipated product. I'm sure you're getting slammed with questions about their new lineup. I'm thinking really hard about the new 10-50... you may have me on your waiting list sooner than later...

It would be advisable to be on mine or someones WTB list . The last time I had any delivery news from Allen, he said the first shippment into the country was suppose to be enough to supply all vendors and have extra backup at the company warehouse. The story today is just the opposite. Now you see why I cant give anyone an answer, with information like that to operate from.
A vendor can only be as good as his supplier. This lenghty process has foiled the very concept of my business policy, to provide a quality product at the best price in the maket place and do it FASTER that any other vendor. To say that I'm unhappy with the way this is working out is an understatement. Larry in western ky.

Larry:

I understand your position. Hopefully everyone else does as well. I certainly do NOT think less of your business because of this situation. In this case, the supplier is the one 'fooling around,' which consumers can translate into "the distributor is giving them the run around." I truly believe that most people on this forum have enough business sense, and common sense, to realize that YOU are not making and braking promises. If anything, you've been as straight forward as we (you customers) can hope for, and I sure do appreciate that. I know for a fact that a lot of people here feel the same way. If a potential customer feels you've misled them on any info on the new scopes, then they obviously haven't read any of your responses in this forum, and they probably have about half the brain that we could hope they have.

Keep doing what you do Larry... it's much appreciated by many of us.

Ditto. I've bought 2 triggers, 1 scope, and several hunder pieces of brass from Larry. He continues to have the best price, the fastest shipment, and Customer Service 2nd to none.

Hello Larry,
I have never had any dealings with you except for talking to you on the phone and im sure you dont remember me but you have my vote as a really good and honest person.
