Sierra published speeds for 223

Is Sierra’s published speeds in their data manual accurate? I know every rifle is different but is it close ? See picture it says 23.7 grains of H322 under a 55 grain blitzkings gets you 2900 fps out of a 20” AR barrel.

I'd say those are good projections. Ironically, that 21.5 grain load of Rel. 7 is exactly what I use as my accuracy load in a particular rifle with the 55 Blitz king. (Nosler brass and Tula primer) Very accurate in that gun. In having tried many loads from many manuals over the years, I found the Sierra max loads, on average, to be a bit warmer than Berger, Nosler, Hornady and some of the other manuals. So much so, that I tend to view the Sierra max loads as true probable max loads and a higher probability of being over max for a given rifle. I have two rifles that can't handle the max load of Varget on their accuracy load. (I think it was the 69 grn.)

The xterminator and w748 data is pretty close to mine.

I ran 55gr Hornady(sp, vm), Sierra, Nosler bullets using Sierra AR charge weights for H335 out of my 18" suppressed barrel. All shot about 100 fps faster than the Sierra book velocity for 55 gr bullets(2900@ 25 gr).
