Sierra Infinity V6 free download

I just saw a number of web location where they "offer free download" of this software,

is this cricket?

Seems to me they must be pirate, how does it run without the CD and how does Sierra like it?

v6.0 does not need the disk, like v5.0 did. It runs from the program files.

As to being cricket, that's a personal decision.

Just so you are aware, the v6 is only exterior ballistics. The reloading data is not included in v6. When I purchased v6, I was surprised to find that out. The good thing is you will no longer need the CD. I had to copy files from the v5 CD into the v6 directories to get both the interior and exterior working on v6 and show the case dimensions.

I only use it for the min max load reference and use QL for the rest.

Thanks Snake, i have the v5 and load data, it seems to me i want the full package as i use the load data all the time for starters,. i am notsure how much the load data was updated on the v6 vs v5

I am not sure if you are still questioning the updated load data. There is no load data updated in v6 since it does not contain ANY load data. The toll free Tech line is 800-223-8799. You may want to call them and discuss version 6 to make sure it meets you expectations before you buy it. It does have more exterior ballistic calculators and bullet data from other manufactures. If you do get v6 and want to merge the two versions together so v6 has all the reloading data, shoot me a note and I will walk you through it. Here is a screen shot of v6 that is using the reloading data from v5. The RED box shows the "Reloading Data" menus.

I would look at the RCBS.Load.

I prefer it over Sierra and use it for the last 6 years.

It has a lot more features than Sierra.

The only thing I would like to see on RCBS.Load would be the capability to save a "balistic table" you can design.
