anyone know why sierra doesnt manufacture .17cal stuff?
i have e-mailed sierra on more than one occasion and never got a peep back,we get a decent supply of sierra stuff here in the UK.and thought there would be a demand.you guys would buy as well im sure so?

Call Sierra Customer Service and talk to them first hand. I've had great success in getting answers that way.

simple matter of tooling. Could be they have their machines maxed on the low side for the 223 already.
Re-tooling can cost 10's of thousands of $$. Then of course they have to sell enough to recover the tooling before profit,,that could take years.

Time issues,,they may be running at max currently, I understand the military is using their bullets,,,,a need to staff extra people on extra machines,,,,,,,,
