Sierra 85 gr HP in a 6.5 x 284

Tried to ogive these in my rifle, and the bullet ran out of the case. So I just loaded a couple .010's over what COL called out in load data since I couldn't get an ogive measurement. Will I have a problem? Any body loaded these up for their rifles?

aside from a possibly large jump, should be ok. going to be a screamer.

Yeah, should fly like a striped ape. Probably shouldn't load too many. Barrel will have a short life!

Its in a savage, seems like the throat is really long in it. Even my 142 HPBT are way out in the case.

85's aren't listed in my sierra manual. I was curious so I looked it up.

My buddy loaded some for his Savage LRH and he had problems with them holding together. Better off using 95 grain Vmaxes.
