Sierra 6mm 75 gr Varminter HP

Have any of you guys user this bullet. I'm wondering how accurate they would be. I have a chance to source some and I kind of figure they may be what I'm looking for to use in my Sako 6ppc USA. The free-bore is long in these rifles and I think I could get to the lands with this bullet and still have enough in the neck to make things work. With my twist this is about as heavy /long that I can go (14 Twist). Any comments would be appreciated. TKS

I shoot that bullet in a 6mm PPC and a 6mm Donaldson Wasp, and find it superbly accurate in both guns.

Both guns shoot in the high 0's to low .100's at 100 yards with said Sierra 75 gr. Hollow Point. Both guns also have a 1-14" twist.

We shot a lot of the Sierra 75g Hp in custom 243s years ago that were 26", with zero freebore, Hart 12Tbarrels.

The 75's shot very, very tiny groups with IMR 4064, H4895, H380, and the fastest was Win 760. Coyotes could be shot in the stomach or further back and they would be laying in their tracks. I kept shooting that bullet until the 80g Single shot pistol bullet came out, where I switched due to the incredible loud PLOP sound when the bullet connected on the coyote!

No telling if or when another run of the 75's will be completed at Sierra.

Another bullet that may work for you would be the 60g Sierra Hp, as they will take some jump. AA2230, H335 with Rem 71/2's produce excellent speed with accuracy, along with H322. Best accuracy will be very close to top end pressure.
