Has anyone tried the Sierra 107g MK on varmints to see if they open up, trying to find a replacement for the Hornady 105 A max that did work well.

Have not tried them on a varmint but have shot several gal. jugs of water and they blow a jug up as much as any varmint bullet I've tried.

Bill, grapefruits at 300 are a good medium to test bullets on for varmints.

If losing a little bc doesn't bother you, trim the meplat down. This will aid in expansion.
