Sierra 69 TMK

I could be completely wrong here but I thought they had found that the regular smk flew better than the tmk...

Edit.... I have done business with optics planet a few times buying things like spotting Scopes and rifle bags and had a good experience with them.... If it makes you uncomfortable just give them a call.... Don't cost anything anymore.... PLUS by calling a business you can tell if there's a problem if they answer the phone or try and help or don't or just get the run around.... Companies customer service department determines if I will buy from them... If I call with a question and their no help or rude etc they won't be getting my business....

FWIW, I offered the OP a full unopened box of 500 + 267 in a 2nd box, for $180, but he declined and only wanted to buy 25 to test. My offer is all or nothing.

If anyone is looking for these 69 grain TMKs, contact me in PM. They seem very desirable for 22 Creedmoor. I would also trade for copper bullets I could use for hunting.

It concerns me that Optics Planet is the only vendor showing them in stock.
What concerns you. I have used O P for several years. I have had excellent customer service . I did have one rude young man who obviously did not like the fact I was either White or a Veteran, or both. I hung up, called back and gave my order to great young lady then reported what had happened. I received a call back and an apology. I have had multiple transactions since, all very positive.

This kind of worries me,

“These incredibly popular Tipped MatchKing bullets based on the legendary originals are jacketed-spun solid copper. The tip prevents deformation in the magazine of bottle fed auto loading rifles and shotguns.”

The " original " 69 grain SMK is one great bullet all the way to 500 yards out of my Savage Model 12 LRPV with a 7 twist. Only tipped bullet I`ve tried is a 73 grain Hornady ELD-M. Just OK.
