Sierra 6.5x150gn bullets

Has anyone got info on these bullets or got them to shoot well? I'm thinking of setting up a 6.5x284 and wanted to use the heavier bullets but can't find any success stories about them. Wanting to shoot long range F Class. Or, is the Berger 153gn better. Any info appreciated.

I have not used the Berger's but have shot a lot of Sierra in a 6.5 CM. I have a 1-7 tw Shilen using RE 26. I have not had any issues. Placed 3rd in the 1st match I shot with them in very challenging winds and heavy rain. Cant speak to the 6.5x284. It is my bullet of choice. I would like to try the Berger sometime good luck

I'm sure others will respond that shoot 1,000 yards....20 shot strings. I have shot over 2,000 of them with 6.5 x 47 and 6.5 x 284. I had no problems because I shoot 5 shot strings. In my experience the 147 eldm and Berger 140 hyb are more accurate. Some shooters have had failures in F-class with eldm and sierra 150's. Long hot barrels with fast twist in summer time heat will punish bullets. Berger 140 hyb in my 6.5 x 284 is deadly accurate and I shoot a node around 2930-2940. Just my 2 cents! Good luck! In this case, chasing BC is not worth it.

I just got a bbl setup with the intent of shooting 150 gr MK's, Brux 7 1/2 twist,
6.5-284 with .235 Fb. just started load work. Did pressure-velocity workup.
started low, did 5 shot strings. had 7 sets of 5 loaded. bullets were .010 IN the lands. my top load was 3006 fps. shot the best so far at 2940fps. Oh at 3006fps i had NO Pressure signs. NONE. I'm going to do a fine tuning on powder charge , then seating depth. I only shot these at 300yd's. the bbl had 88 rds on it at the start of testing. Best accuracy so far is +-3/8 moa. Not good enough yet. I sure hope it gets better. I also would like to try the 153 Berger.
This is just starting load workup. I'll keep updating as i get more info to post.
