Sierra .30 light weight SMK's

Any one using the 125 or 135 grain .30 caliber SMK's in the .308 Winchester cartridge?

What are / were your loads and results.

My clubs range is limited to a maximum of 300 yards and I can't see using 175 grain SMK's

and heavier to perforate paper :-)

Regards,

Steve

Hey Joisey.

45 grains of H-322 with a 125 (I use the Speer TNT) is a nice, clean burning, powder puff load.

The TNT's are much more accurate than their price should allow.

Thanks Lito and wboggs.

Finding anything Speer is a problem.

I think they make more profit making Ammo :-)

When I shot NRA Highpower Matches, I used my own 135 gr FB at the 200 yd stage and my 168 gr BT at the 300 yd stage .
I would use the Sierra's in those weights without question. The 168 gr BT Sierra was designed for 300 meter shooting and will help you deal with condition changes at that distance.

Now go get those X's and enjoy.
