I am looking to restock a Stiller Diamondback action gun. It is a square tang action. I want something that is good off the bench, but good in the field. I l have a McMillan hunter benchrest 2.25" flat forearm and a Tooley MBR, I like both but looking for something different. Show Me You Stock

This is the latest gun that Richard Franklon built for me. I purchased a piece of Turkish Walnut (from picture only) and ask him to build my 30-338 around the Model 10 stock. I really like this stock. The gun is a bit heavy (20 lbs.) for lugging around, but the stock design might be perfect for what you want to do.

call Gary Elesio of competition shooting stuff, he makes a lighter version tube gun for hunting, and has a bag rider attachment for the "handguard". worst case scenario, he doesn't have exactly what you want but he can modify one of his kits to get you there.

With guidance from Al Flores. It was all done on the mill except the butt and it was carved by Al. Kavanaugh did the finish. I took step by step photos.
I just love the beautiful walnut on yours! I did my heavy in laminated walnut and stupidly sold it.

I also have a laminated Walnut stock that I purchased from 'Preacher' on this site a couple months ago. It's a Richard Franklin LOWRIDER. I have a BAT action, Bartlein barrel and all the other goodies ready to go for my next gun. I am awaiting the delivery of my reamer from JGS and then I am going to have a 6mm SUPER LR built from these parts.
The stock I bought from Bruce is actually nicer than the photo he had posted for the sale. I'm glad I picked it up from him. I'm really looking forward to this new build shooting the BIB 108gr BTs.
I will do a post when I get everything together and shooting.

You will like the lowrider. Richard built me the first lowrider for shoot my first record in IBS 600, And shot two more with it. Great comp stock.

Well I am jealous of all yalls stocks. This one is the best I have right now. It's one of Bill Shehane's MBR in Indain paint. Currently I have everything at the smith being put together. Should be done by the end of May. Then the stock has to go back to Bill for clear coating. I have kicked myself a thousand time for not going with a bat. It started out as a varmint gun so I went with the Savage Target action.

Butch I love the flames! My next build is going on a Bat model B. Either 6 dasher or 6.5x47 Lapua. I Have been looking around for something you don't see much. It is a eye catcher thats for sure!

Mark I think Bill Makes the Indain paint in a 2 1/2" fore end also.

Bear I love the Walnut stock! VERY NICE! Hopefuly I have a cpl of gorgeous Rifles like yall have ONE DAY! I'm working on it! One thing I have learned in this game! It take Patience and time to put together a good looking shooter!
