Shout out to Scot Parker

Shout out to Scot Parker . Got my scales back a while ago if you have never used a tuned set of scales
You don't know what your missing. These things are so accurate. They measure one kerrnal of powder.
If your planning on buying a set of scales call Scott he,ll hook you up with a set.
Thanks Scot

I just received a NOS Ohaus 10-10-5 from Scott earlier this week. The box and manual and warranty card look like they are from the late '60s (there is a powder trickler ad for $3.50). The scale looks brand new. It will even register a single small grain of VV N150 (even finer than Varget). I checked it with my check weights and compared it against my GemPoo 250, and the Scott scale was within +/- .1 grain up to 31 grains, and only off by 0.14 grains at 70 grains (which is more than I am ever liable to load into a cartridge case).

I highly recommend the Omega 2 speed power trickler and the Dandy Products Handy View to use along with it. Makes trickling powder a pleasure.

i'm curious if your Parker scales have any identifying marks or stickers on them? I bought a scale off here and the guy said it was from Scott, and it works great, but a friend asked me how do I know it was from Scott. I said that's a good question! Any help?

No label on mine, either. Will have to say that after years of using beams, swallowed some of the digital KoolAid and couldn't have been more disappointed. Short of a really good $500+ digital, I took a shot at a Parker tuned scale and couldn't be more pleased. Only confirm bullet check weight that he sent with it and you're done. No warmup, isolation, magnetic chokes, etc. This scale was a wake up call for me, as had been throwing charges of 8208 for a 308 and found that even from a BR30, charges varied, using very good technique. Still throw just under and now trickle up to final. Not as fast, but nice improvement in SD/ES, for both 308, Creedmoor and Grendels. Highly recommend Scott-give him a couple of weeks to deliver, it's a sideline for him, but worth the wait.
