My first Dealing with RCBS customer service, I was resizing some old brass I had sitting around and they were going hard then snap I broke the deprimer and bent the expander.. I emailed a picture and short description and explained I may have been forcing it more then I should have! I know more then closed out my email and heard the message chime and pulled it back up and :

"Just ordered that for you no charge".

Thank you CM

They are top notch. Cheap parts have always been sent free of charge to me. I have broke a linkage pin on my press almost 10 times and I always get free replacement pins. I love it.

I have stopped using my dies to decap brass I do use a lee decaping die. The rest of my stuff is almost all RCBS.

I like the RCBS FL die because it gets everything pushed back far enough! This brass was mixed old stuff I was just getting back into shape for family that have me load basic stuff for hunting and that die is great for getting brass to fit in everything.

Yes, their customer service is top notch. Anytime I needed something it was no problem, no charge, no questions asked.

Again I find RCBS support second to none. As far as 'cheap parts for free' go......well I have an RCBS A-4 (Big Max),,,a few decades old. I called with a problem regarding their add-on shell holder for 45-70. Big problem. I lost it! I was told the RAM design was changed years ago and although the press was no longer made they would send me a NEW improved design ram. No charge. And there is nothing cheap in that part including the postage. I paid zero.

That is outstanding. I never had problems with anything big. Still that rocks.

My first issue which I stated to them and in the forum was my fault and I clearly expected to pay but like I said within the time I clicked out of my email I got a response that it is on it's way no charge!
I plan on getting a Redding seater die for my 300 win mag build when it gets done but I know for the bulk of my reloading components where there coming from!

IMO, RCBS is the best kept secret for reloading equipment. I started using their gear about fifty years ago and I've never been disappointed in quality of product or service. Thumbs up, big time, for RCBS.

You have one of those new fangled A-4's. I have an (actually several) A-2's one of which needed the shell holder ram (A-2 rams are 2 piece) which had not been available for years. I contacted RCBS and they shipped me free of charge a new Rockchucker ram that I shortened and turned down to fit in the larger A-2 ram. That was over and above customer service in my opinion.

I would like to follow up with I received the new stem with expander and deprimer with five extra deprimer stems! I thought I only broke one but that is above and beyond!

This is a old thread but just did the same thing on a Dillon 550B using RCBS dies. So 9 years later I got the same response on a die that is probably almost 30 years old. I just asked for the part number and they are sending the new assembly for free and they are paying the shipping. Doesn't get any better than that. Thank you RCBS.

I’ll respond to this old thread. I have argued with them, saying “I did something stupid, it’s my fault, how much is the stem?” and they refuse to take my money!
A darned fine Company!! They might be considered “bottom rung” when compared to other “elite” die makers but they consistently get the job done!
