Shout Out To Northland

I would like to let everyone know about the great customer service I received from Northland Shooter Supply.
I called in my order as all orders are by phone only, and received no answer. So I began rendering some pork lard (cooking bacon) and got a call back. I placed my order and hung up. When the package was getting packed the gentleman packing it thought one of the items seemed wrong or out of place with the others so he called me to verify the item. I had ordered action wrench but since I was distracted cooking I did not specify which one I wanted. But he realize due to the order that I probably wanted the Zermatt action wrench and called to verify. That is awesome customer service. Instead of just packing what was on the sheet he took the time to verify what I had actually wanted. Saving me the hassle of the return and him restocking and reshipping the item.

He’s pretty great. I wish more people used the phone for ordering. I am not a fan of online orders. I like to call and talk to a knowledgeable human, get the right stuff the first time, verify that it’s in stock, usually discuss some ideas, ask questions.
 
Remember when you could call Sinclair and talk to a tech support guy who knew all kinds of stuff and shot a lot as well.

Call Brownells now. The ladies are very nice, but yeah you better know exactly what you want and where to find it.

In the end we will get exactly what we deserve. When the website took their job will they be confused?

“Service” these days is a fading memory and when you encounter it, ya really notice.
Yes it is!!! I know more about the inside of a flying saucer than I do about computers and posting my credit card and banking information on line ain't going to happen. Also where I live on the farm the rural mail carrier doesn't run so I have a PO box 3 miles from my house, suits me just fine. My 2 son's houses are up on the main highway on the other side of the farm and one of them is named John also so anything that I order that comes anyway other than by USPS I have delivered to one of them. Try getting the right info entered with a billing address in one county and delivery in another (county line divides the farm) and I don't think Bill Gates can get it done. I've got a list of fokes that I order from over the years and if they don't have it I don't get it. ... John

Over a year ago, one of the better suppliers, meaning that they had stuff, changed their business model. #1, they required me to set up an account with them so I could order over the internet. A no go for me. At the same time, they told me that they would not take phone orders any longer. I told them then that they had just lost my business. I have not been back.
