Shout Out to Mike's Reloading Bench

Bought one of Mike's annealers a year ago last March. Used it a LOT since then (though not much from Nov. thru Feb.).

Today I was running a bunch of 308 brass (accumulation ftom Midwest Palma & US Team tryout last weekend, ~ 400 cases) when I noted a couple 'burned' cases in the cool-off screen.

Seems recent violent storms likely killed the speed-control circuit board. Motor'd run but was losing torque, causing sporadic stalls.

Mike replied to my frantic e-mail within half an hour with a phone call, suggested test to determine what might be wrong (run 12VDC direct from power supply to motor, bypassing speed controller) which I did.

He's sending me a new controller, free of charge.

What I call 110% product support.

(From now forward my MRB will be plugged into a surge supressor!!)
 
I got one also. Never had a lick of trouble with it. But, you got me thinking about putting it on a surge suppressor.
 
I ran my MRB annealer for the first time a couple days ago and am very pleased with the machine. It's well made, looks great and did a heck of a job on my 6.5x47 cases.

Glad to hear Mike has great customer service too.

I deeply apologize to Any and All who have tried to access my site today and were met with less than acceptable outcomes. I tried to make a very minor change to the site this morning and since then it has been a monumental ass kicking trying to fix whatever went wrong. I am still working on it at this time and my old brain is about fried. It's starting to look like I may have to start from scratch to fix whatever it is that's messing everything up. None the less, I'm still here and still in business. Wish me luck, I'm giving it another shot after dinner. There's a lot to be said about a #2 lead pencil and a Big Chief tablet!

I love hearing service to others like this after the sale. It warms the heart to hear some still actually mean it when it comes to a guarantee today.Some of the large outlets are worthless when it comes to a problem. I wrote one about a magazine sent that didnt match the package and that was in May , no answer. I have tried calling several times but no answer. I dont know what the heck is going on but it seems our good buddy in the midwest doesnt really care after all. Very very very disappointing. A BIG SHOUT OUT for MIKES RELOADING BENCH for being an honest stand up guy.
