Shout out to LimbSaver/ Sims Vibration Lab

A number of years ago I put one of their Airtech recoil pads on my Rem 700 7Mag. I found that I really liked it but during hunting season this year, i noticed the rubber pad was coming loose from the base plate. I called the company to ask about what kind of glue I should use to reattach it. The nice lady that answered the phone said it sounded like a warranty issue to her and checked with the QC department to verify. I informed her that this was not recently purchased but she promptly got my name and address to mail me the correct replacement at no charge. Another A+ company in my book. As I continue to use their products, I’ll spread the word so others know about them as well.

Isn't it refreshing to deal with a company that cares about it customers!, I had the same experience with Ruger and with Hornady. They all have a lifetime customer because of their caring.

Add Vortex Optics to this list. Just got my spotting scope back , they paid postage both ways, fixed a couple minor issues, put on a new cover and shipped it home. I was out not one red cent. Needless to say, my next optic purchase will be Vortex.

I've had a couple of them 'melt' into the fabrics on the floor of the safe. Sims replaced them no questions asked.

FWIW things like that are why I've been moving from permanently mounted recoil pads to solid buttplates so I can use slip-on recoil pads like Limbsaver Airttech and remove them when I don't need to have them on the buttstock. To me it's a win-win approach.

Sounds like a better idea.
