I just discovered that @Cigarcop is only 30 minutes away from me. I had a Remington action that needed a barrel. I dropped the action and barrel blank off at his place after lunch yesterday. Figured a couple weeks before its done. He texts me pictures at 7.40 last night and its all done.
I went to pick it up today, along with the stock for this gun. We test fit it, it needed a little wood removed around the recoil lug area. He just set the mill up and 5 min. later it was all good to go. He also trimmed the action screws I had to the right length.
I learned a lot hanging out with him for about an hour and man Keith is just an awesome guy. I fell lucky to have one of the premier gunsmiths so close to me.
