I contacted both gentlemen for their input on re-barreling my 35 yo Howa 1500. I wanted to do a 280AI. Butch sent me the reamer. Today my Christmas present from Dave came in. Mentioned to him that I have a 50 caliber can full of LC match brass. He strongly suggested to use 270 Win brass to fireform and he would gladly send enough to last the barrel life.
