Off topic.
I just saved myself at least $1900. Short story, I had a small rust spot over the wheel well of my F150 so I took it to body shop to get it fixed, out come was They wanted a minimum of 2k to fix it. I came home shaking my head, took a look on you tube and thought I can do that, so I went to the auto paint store bought the paints came home and got it all sanded, filled, and painted, blended in nicely now all that is needed is a little rubbing out and a wax job on that fender.
Who knows I may even forget about buying a new one.
No offence to the body men here but I think things have gotten way out of hand or they have so much work they don't want any more.
Now to decide new VFS gun or new Hunter FS gun.

Saving money on a project (truck) is almost like having money for something you

LOL, I have Bondo and a can of custom matched spray paint for the identical repair on my Tundra. First I must finish wet sanding deep scratches on my old vette and buff it out. My wife doesn't fall for the savings to be spent on fun stuff, been married way too long @ 52 years.
