Hi All,
I am in hopes that I will hear from several of you guy's, giving me your views.
Sometime a year or so back I bought a 260AI barrel here in the classifies, for a good price! I know that this will sound strange, but it is what it is! I am not upset about my buy, I just need some advice! The barrel is a very low round count Lilija 8 twist 260 AI. barrel. It came to me in a H.D. tube so I didn't see the need to take it out of the tube. As I was gathering the parts to finish the build I had talk to man that builds the best muzzle break that a person can get for reducing recoil. I have a real bad back and can't take any recoil!! The other day I decided to do a mock up with the parts I have. To my surprise I pull the barrel out of the tube to find that I bought a pencil barrel. Just to make it clear, I am not upset at all!
When talking to the muzzle break guy, I thought we were working with a larger dia. barrel, my question is: will I be throwing money away messing with this pencil barrel (I can't have recoil) okay, bigger around barrel will have less recoil that the pencil barrel, so I guess what I am asking is: Will I be able to get almost the same reduced recoil as I would with larger dia. barrel? or should I look for a different barrel?
Thanks a bunch for your time, and I hope to here from several of you folks?
Greg
