Shotmarker Sensor Hub - Protection Case offering

To the powers that be (mods): I apologize if this is in the wrong place or not allowed, if not allowed please feel free to delete.

After hearing a couple of very isolated cases where a Sensor Hub took a hard hit—like being dropped or having something heavy land on it—and ended up with damage to the antenna, I realized I didn’t want to take chances with my own gear. The Shotmarker itself is solid, but accidents happen, so I designed a dedicated Sensor Hub protective case as some extra insurance.

I gave a few early versions to people at Bayou Rifles and the feedback was good, so I wanted to share it with the broader community to see if other shooters might be interested. I’m happy to make some for fellow members if there’s demand.

Key Features:
  • Snug-Fit Protective Shell – The case lightly “hugs” the Sensor Hub and keeps it firmly positioned so it doesn’t rattle or shift.
  • Gasket-Lined Seal – Helps protect against dust, dirt, and moisture entering the case during transport or storage.
  • Antenna Impact Buffer – There is approximately 1/4" of protective space above the antenna, providing a buffer zone in case something heavy presses down on your ShotMarker bag or gear.
  • Soft TPU Backing – Adds shock absorption while staying flexible and durable for range use.
  • Fits nicely in Shotmarker Bag - This was important to me
I can make these in two formats depending on preference:
  • Shoebox Style (Lift-Off Lid)
  • Clamshell / Hinged Style (a tad higher in price due to added metal hardware, inserts, etc.)
If there’s enough interest, I can start a sale thread for both options.
Right now I’m estimating pricing at:
  • $8–$10 + shipping for the shoebox style
  • $12–$14 + shipping for the clamshell-latch style (slightly higher due to hardware and manual fitting by hand)

Shipping would be via UPS from Houston, TX, and average cost has been around $8.

This is mostly just a fun, almost at-cost project for me, and I’d love to give something back to the community. If anyone has thoughts, suggestions, or ideas for improvements, I’m all ears. Even if you don’t need one, I’d be curious what features you’d want in a case like this or what other small range-gear prints you’ve found useful.

If this seems like something you’d want, just let me know in here and I’ll gear up to make and offer them to anyone who’s interested.
