Those of you wanting to go better get on the move. The lessor expensive and direct airline flights reservations and cheaper hotel reservations are getting scarcer.
For the last 5 or 6 years I booked with SouthWest Air the week after Thanksgiving. The cheap fares and direct flights were gone when I looked. I had to book with Air Alaska, and United this year. Neither flight is a direct flight.
