Shot my first fclass match!

I typically shoot 600 and 1k br since all those matches are over except the 600 nationals. I figured I'd try a mr fclass match. And that is some fun stuff! I also wanted to test some 108 Bergers vs the 105 hybrids. The only difference I seen there was the hybrids hit about a minute and a half higher. But fclass is a blast and I shot pretty well with a 595-25x.

I also want to thank Dave Gosnell for coming and making sure I didn't look like an idiot.

Wow! Glad you had a good time. ::)

Thanks Matt, I'll probably shoot more next depending on the br schedule. I'm working on building my Savage for it now.

You can learn a lot from Dave! And, he can teach you a bunch about F-Class! Hanging out and shooting with him is always fun, just wish we could do more of it.
Congratulations on your first match. It appears you did real well. And, it is addictive. Mark Walker and Dave talked me into coming to a match at Bayou several years ago, and I haven't missed very many out there since.

I have shot both bench and fclass simultaneously over the last few years. Both are challenging and fun but fclass seems more satisfying. I have only shot one bench match this spring if that tells you anything.

Just a 595-25 on your first effort? I'd say yes, you did shoot well. Try that same match with a .308 if you really want to have some fun. The first F Class match I shot was with a 6BR, it was an over the top 590 something and was a blast. Next month I shot my.308 and was handed a dose of " Really? That little wind can blow you to the 7 ring?" That was 3 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. Matt is right, it is addicting.

Thanks guys! I'll be going to many more. Probably gonna screw a 284 barrel on my Savage. My 6br does good at 600 but think I'd get my butt kicked at 8,9 and 1k.
