I had purchased a Powder Funnel with a 6" drop tube from 21st Century Shooting. I found it to be a little long for my needs. I decided to purchase the 3" version and have really liked it a lot better. the 6" Drop tube model has been sitting ever since. I was looking at it the other morning and Decided to see if I could shorten it.
So I took a heat gun and warmed the funnel / tube joint and took them apart. I shortened the Drop tube to about 2 inches and reduced the diameter about .010, then test fitted it back to the funnel opening. It fit well, so at that time I cleaned up the tube, and the Funnel tube opening. I then mixed up some clear epoxy and smeared a small bit on the tube and just a smidge on the threads at the bottom of the funnel and put the tube onto the Funnel insuring the tube was seated into the funnel and let the epoxy cure.
I like the way it turned out.
