Jim I refuse to use patches that have strings hanging OFF THEM. After using using my bore scope one day and found a string ironed into the bore I had to find a better patch.

I just did a quick search on Amazon. Seems to be plenty of patches available. It would seem there is more than one company making them.

I've had good luck with the triangle ones. Another option as mentioned in an earlier thread, is dryer sheets.

I try to be careful with bore and the crown and the patches only go one way in the bore never back and forth. To each their own...... jim

I was at a groundhog shoot today, friend showed me patches he just bought from Amazon, were suppose to be same as Sinclair patches. They are not, very thin. He is not happy. He got what he paid for.
