Shooting the breeze

Congrats of finding the new banter thread. Please do not sink to insults, crassness, or deragatory remarks to crack a joke. May the blarney begin.

We know what blarney is. Our politicians & newspapers have been feeding it to us for years.

Do you mean like how the salesman operated in this short?

How about 2 groups of 5 shots on target. If 5 are apart, the group is "weak" BUT put all 5 together and you have a "screamer" group that may not easily be overcome! Decent guess>>but maybe on the wrong train of thought! LOL!!

ShootDots...Butch Lambert will shed a tear when he reads the beautiful masterpiece you have written....call it a....billfold group riddle.

I'm guessing: "Hands"......?

You need two of 'em to shoot a rifle.

It is interesting you use the term "shooting the breeze". It is an old term that comes from missing the target and the bullet just "shot the breeze".

What is a banter thread? Well I get it but what is the subject?

I made a thread titled primer deactivation to ask if charcoal lighter fluid would make the compound inert so I can dispose of it safely. I got not only a few legitimate ways of properly disposing of them but quite a few good natured rib jarring. The best way of explaining it would be for you to read it.

They say that you can go a few seconds without air, three days without water, a weak without food, but an entire lifetime without a new idea. My question is this how long can you go without reloading something once you are hooked?

The upper SloBovians say that that is a ba-a-a-d joke.

Reminds me of the sheep ranch my grandfather bought up in Wyoming in the 1940's. Turned out to be a baaaaad deal.

Why was that? Was it near a military base? Those stupid animals would die of heart attacks from the constant buzzing of joy riding pilots.
