Shooting in Central New Hampshire

got a question for those in the Northeast. my wife and I are looking in the future of spending 3 months in the summer and early fall up in in the Northeast. after 32 years living in SE Florida, we would like to escape the heat, humidity and tropical systems for a change. my impression is that New Hampshire is the most gun friendly state among Maine, Vermont, and certainly Massachusetts.

what in the way of outdoor rifle ranges exit in New Hampshire? looking for 100 to 600 yds if possible

thanks for the input

Don't rule out Vermont. The Green Mountain State is quite gun-friendly. The home of neo-commies and relaxed firearms laws. Loaded with contradictions, I know, but it's true.

With respect to your question, check out the following link for a decent amount of information: http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/hunting/clubs-ranges.html

Sorry him but you ate very very wrong. we have 4 clubs in NH shooting glass, one in Ma and one in ME, all mid range. Albany NY and
Connaught Ranges in Ottawa areboth closer than PA

Bring a sweater and a jacket. Being from SE Florida, you may need them.

Oh yea. i use to fly in and out and layover in that area a lot before I retired.

one reason we are going is to get away from the high heat, humidity, thunderstorms and potential tropical systems which are part and parcel for SE Florida summers for a bit. we are looking forward to some cooler weather by the time September rolls around. we will be the ones with jackets and long pants on when you guys are still going around in shorts and T shirts. it's all good.

Reminds me of when I used to travel to Hawaii on business (hey, it was a tough job). 9pm in Honolulu, and a 75 degree "cold crack" in February. You could tell the locals - they were running around in parkas while the rest of us were in T shirts marveling at how warm it was.... :)
