Does anyone know where the Precession or match powder falls on the burn rate charts? Are they close to 8208xbr? Maybe one of our members from Europe would know.
I know it is as unobtainable as anything else right now, but just in case.

SWP is extremely similar in performance to Varget so I would guess it is right around Varget in the chart.

I have used SWP in my 308 same load was safe in my rifle with very similar ballistics. That is the only cartridge I have used it in.

Match rifle is pretty much 2520

dhagerty thanks for the link. Looking at it neither one is even close around 20 spots behind on the chart.
Guess I'll just have to keep watching for 8208.

Data in GRT shows SW Match Rifle is noticeably faster than 2520.

Definitely not, I've shot up to 25.4 grain of match rifle with 75 ELD-M's. Definitely can't get anywhere near that with 8208

Lovex (SW) Precision Rifle powder is very close to Varget. I am
having good results with it, and what's not to like about it being
$10 bucks cheaper. Now if only they can gets those boats
unloaded.

Laurie would definitely know. He has weighed in and gave excellent information that is much validated on these powders. I have 24 pounds of each and will one day be giving them a go. A little digging in the archives would probably shed some light on all of SWP's.

I was hoping he would jump in. Looking at their chart it is way to slow when comparing.
This is for a 30x47, run it for Hunter class BR. pushing a 115 Berger.
AR comp and 2460 are right next to it but also unobtainum, 4895 works but not quite the accuracy and dirtier.
