Shooters World powder

Sorry! put this in the wrong forum earlier.

Anybody used Shooters World powder, not finding much in the way of load data for it. They have a download on their website but it's pretty slim pickin's.

SW powder is Lovex, so the extensive loads from their site will answer most questions. You can also get a good starting point for Lovex by using QuickLoad interior ballistics.

I wonder how the "wildcatters"of the past like .. Ackley, O'Connor, Ect.were able to do so much without all the electronics most people can't function without today.

I picked up SO-62 as a substitute for Varget for .308 Palma Loads.

It is more equal to IMR 4166 Hi Pressure for this loading .

My current Varget at 46.2 gr. gives me a Vol. 3018 AV.

It took 46.5 gr. of SO-62 to get 2956 Vol.
The Primers where Flat and Blended in to the cases.

I will try it with SR Peterson Brass in a FT/R rifle with 185 Berger's later this year.

Varget for my shooting is hard to find a replacement ? I try

I have gone to the range with primed brass, a powder measure set at starting load with my powder of choice and a bullet seating setup and from there worked up to where I want to be. So far no ill effects.

I wouldn't call it extensive, for example they only show three loads with two different powders for .300 blackout
