Shooter world powder

I have searched and can't find any details that are up to date. Has anyone shot the shooters world powder in 6br or anything similiar specifically the powder that is suppose to be same as varget

I got some a couple of years ago and built loads for 6.5 Creedmoor ... worked just fine, but switched back to Winchester StaBall when I was able to buy it again. I found it to be generally consistent, and usually available when nothing else was.

What was your reason to switch back?

I use it in 6BR and have for almost two years. Precision is very close to Varget and has shown excellent temperature stability. Shooters World has a website with a complete reloading guide and burn rate chart.
I know several guys that went to it when Varget his unobtanium pricing and availability. So many that now the Shooters World Powder line is in short supply as well.

To those that have used Shooters World Powder did you find the velocity to be close the other powders ( Hodgon, IMR, Winchester, etc) or slower. My experience with it was it shot good but velocity was lower.. Would like to hear your experience. Thanks

I have used Precision Rifle in my 6br and 6.5x47L. It worked quite well. N140, varget and Precision Rifle are all very close in performance for me.

I currently use Match Rifle in my 6br. 29.3 grains gets me ~2800 fps (28" barrel) with around 1/2 MOA accuracy with 107's.

Precision is my current power for 30/06 in my Garands. Good results with 155's so far. Also have loaded 169's in 308 with it and had good results. In 223 I've found I need to up the charge a bit to get the velocity I was looking for.

I'm in the process of testing Long Rifle with 208's in my 20" 308 AR. So far I've only run a ladder test with what may be a velocity node around 2300 fps with 43ish grains.

I use the Match in a 223 and the 4350 in a 6 Creedmoor and it works great in both. But like said, its getting hard to find.

i bought an 8lb jug of it before the price increase. paid a sticker price of $166. bought it for a varget alternative. geeze, the SW has doubled in price now! so much for a cheap/available alternative.
i have yet to try it out but reviews look promising.
